Easter Ten Road Race
2010 EVENT
The Easter Ten 2010 event is the 57th running of this well known road race and will be hosted again by Nortel at the Maidenhead Office Park and will feature the Berkshire 10 Mile Championships.
The race will be run Under UKA Rules and will feature ChampionChip Timing.
This is a popular race and we are expecting a high entry. Entries will open in early November. Please enter early to avoid disappointment. There will be no entries on the day.
The MAC and Maidenhead Office Park are also pleased to announce that the event will again be aimed at raising money for a local charity the Thames Valley Adventure Playground (www.tvap.net). Please see the section below on how to help raise money or make a donation to the TVAP.
As usual APEX Sports will be providing the runners numbers.
ENTRIES
On-Line entries via Runners World www.runnersworld.co.uk will open January 1st 2010.
The Entry Limit is 1300.
On-line entries for the Easter Ten will remain open until Thursday 1st April - – for entries after March 25th 2010 then please pick-up your race-pack from the Enquiries desk situated inside the Race Village
Runners packs will be sent out from Mid-March 2010.
Entry Fees are as follows: £14 Attached £16 Unattached
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY
There will be 24 individual awards and Male and Female team awards, and a souvenir to all finishers.
DONATIONS TO THE TVAP
People can raise money or donate to the TVAP in the following ways:
1) The Entry Form
An optional donation can be included when entering for the race. All funds will be passed directly to the TVAP including the names and addresses of those who wish to participate in GiftAid. Please note that personal details will not be used for any other purpose.
2) Sponsorship
All runners who participated in last year’s event will receive an entry form for the race plus a sponsorship form for those would like to get sponsorship for taking part in the race.
Alternatively, a sponsorship form can be downloaded from this site.
3) Direct to the TVAP
